See the Day Through Your Eyes 📸

We would love for you to capture the little moments of our wedding day from your perspective and share them with us!

From getting ready in the morning, the journey to the venue, those candid moments between friends and family, the laughs, the dancing, the celebrations and all the little moments we might miss — we want to see it all through your eyes.

There is just one important request:

🤍 Our Ceremony is Unplugged

During the ceremony, we ask that you please put your phones and cameras away and be fully present with us. We have a wonderful photographer capturing those moments for us, so please let them do their thing!

Once the ceremony is over, your cameras are very much welcome again! 📸

After the wedding, please upload your photos and videos so we can relive the day from your perspective. We would absolutely love to see the moments we were too busy laughing, crying, dancing or celebrating to notice ourselves.

The professional photos will capture the beautiful moments — your photos will capture the memories in between. ❤️

Transport home

Getting Home After the Wedding 🚗

Our recommendation for getting home is Uber.

An Uber is approximately $35 per car from the venue to Henderson or Massey.

You can also share with friends or family heading in the same direction and split the fare.

For a stress-free end to the evening, we strongly recommend using Uber’s “Book in advance” option. You can arrange your ride days in advance, choosing your pick-up time and location before the wedding even begins.

That way, once the celebrations are over, your ride home is already organised and you can simply enjoy the night without worrying about how you're getting home. 🥂

Tip: If you're travelling with others, consider coordinating your bookings so you can share a ride where possible.

Accommodation Options

As many are not locals I have added some accommodation suggestions.

-

Alternatively, here are a few options on AirBnB, bookabach, stayz and booking.com.

Things to Do

Piha Beach

Picture of Piha Beach
Piha 0772, New Zealand

A beautiful black sand beach not a swimming beach but beautiful place to explore. Stunning sunsets, caves, nearby waterfall and bush walks.

Kitekite Falls Walk

Glenesk Road, Piha 0772, New Zealand

This walk is a must-do when you are in Piha. It's an easy, gradual climb with lots to see on the way. There are some tricky stream crossings, so be careful as you make your way across. Pack your togs (bathers) to go for a much deserved swim before heading back. Wear good clean shoes, you will need to clean them on the way in and out of the walk to protect the Kauri from disease.

Pukematekeo Lookout

Waitākere, Auckland 0781, New Zealand

A great look out over one of the Waitakere dams on one side and Auckland on the other. A great place to stop in when exploring the Waitakere ranges.

Rangitoto Island

Take a day trip to a dormant volcano

Rangitoto is the youngest and largest of Auckland's 48 dormant volcanic cones and is home to the world's largest pohutukawa forest.

Rangitoto is Auckland’s most iconic island, with its distinctive symmetrical cone and superb location just off the coast.

Only a short scenic ferry ride across the harbour from downtown Auckland, the island is a favourite destination for hikers and day-trippers.
